We recently performed a challenging TAVR using Boston Scientific ACURATE neo2 valve in a patient with:
Key Challenges:
- Left coronary artery take-off at just 7.6 mm
- Horizontal aorta
- Severe femoral calcification
To ensure safe access, we utilized peripheral Shockwave technology, which helped modify the calcified femoral tract. Despite the complexities, ACURATE neo2’s three size options, 14 Fr introducer sheath, commissural alignment, and unrestricted coronary access delivered a smooth procedure and excellent outcomes.
